Digital goodies have moved ….

As The Scrapbooker has evolved over the last few years, so have my interests (and my skills!) I spent many a night designing digital scrapbooking papers, brushes and elements and trying to make a mark in this vast industry. There are some pretty awful digital products out there and some pretty amazing ones too (neither group, in my opinion, I belong in) but honestly, I much preferred to buy what I needed rather than spend a lot of time designing it.

It was always my intention when I moved my Scrapbooker site to discontinue a lot of my products, but a couple of orders last week involving the buyers purchasing pretty much everything in my shop, made me reconsider.

With this in mind I have decided to move all of my digital scrapbooking stock across to my little known Etsy shop SixtySix. So, if you’re in the market for reasonably priced digital scrapbooking products (including Commercial Use) hop over to SixtySix and have a mooch.

Can I just take this opportunity to thank all of you who have bought from me in the past. Every order, no matter how small, put a smile on my face and made a big difference.

Been so long….

I can hardly believe that it has been nearly 12 months since my last post. It has been one very busy and very manic year, especially coming up to Christmas. I swear there must have been someone walking around London with a big placard advertising my little company.

Lots has happened too on the home front, Amber spent most of the year out from racing due to a fractured foot but is now up and running again. Greta has taken up Street dancing and has been involved with 2 stage shows – you can see her here at the Positive Steps Dance Showcase at the CBSO Theatre, Birmingham strutting her stuff – she’s the one in the cap!

I have been really busy with weddings, photographic shoots, craft courses and scrapbook albums for most of the year and will be posting the results later this week. It has been amazing to see how it has grown from strength to strength over the past few months.

There has also been a new addition to the Etsy pages and Facebook pages to incorporate my crafts. Don’t forget to check us out on Facebook HERE and Etsy HERE. Will keep you posted on developments this week as I try to bring everything up to date – phew!

New projects and arrivals

Another busy few weeks has come and gone; the days just seem to get shorter and shorter and the list of things to do seems to get longer and longer but I’m treading water and starting to see the benefits of all the hard work.

New project work came in last week from 11 Million – a lovely commemorative book for Sir Al Aynsley-Green on his retirement from the Children’s Commissioner post. (Our congratulations to Dr Maggie Atkinson who succeeds him in March of this year.) I felt really honored to be asked to design it and was truly delighted with the result – can’t wait to see it in print.

We’ve sold a few photographic prints through the Cherry Tree – all to the same lady who, upon receiving the last print would call up and order another – so lovely when that happens! Dad has also been working flat-out on photographs from his last trip to the Indian Ocean and we are previewing a couple of these absolutely gorgeous prints here today … Skies over Indian ocean – available to buy from Etsy and Tony Shill Photography in March 2010.

I’ve also sold a copy of my Banyan Tree Digital Mini Kit to a scrap-for-hire lady in the US this evening. As the guys at Tesco are fond of saying – every little helps, so many thanks to Amy – you know who you are and good luck with the new business…..

If this is the trend for the year, then the smile I am wearing at the moment is here to stay – happy, happy days!
